CORE GROUP TRAINING

Founded in 2001 by an Air Force Officer, Core Group Las Vegas is owned by Anthony Jones, a former member of U.S. Special Operations, Electronic Warfare Officer, Intelligence Operator and Personnel Recovery Specialist. Core Group Las Vegas is a Private Investigation Firm as well as a Executive Protection Company. We conduct investigations, surveillance, counter-eavesdropping and executive protection on a constant basis. We have been operating for over 10 years in Las Vegas and have trained thousands of U.S. personnel and first responders in Surveillance, Personal Protection, Executive Protection, Survival and Counter Terrorism techniques. During Iraqi Freedom, he was the Director of the Personnel Recovery Cell and responsible for Personnel and Hostage Recovery throughout the theater. After 9/11, Tony started Core Group and also deployed to Iraq. He was wounded in action and now continues serving by training deploying personnel and providing security here at home. URBAN SURVIVAL - Bug Out Bag / Grid down tool kit - This 2 day course is designed for those who want to prepare themselves for the worst and to survive. It's the cram course to save you and your family. We've done the work and give you the bullet's, how to put your bag together, what you'll need to shelter in place, what to do if the power goes down, how to plan and build your water and food store, and tactical medicine. Everything from your flint, tinder, to your weapons - we cover it all. *(READ MORE)*	URBAN SURVIVAL - Disaster / Emergency Preparedness - This 4 day course reviews everything we cover in our 2 day course, plus more survival medicine and 2 days of practical outdoors urban and outland survival. It can be dirty on the streets, but being the gray man can get you through safely. URBAN SURVEILLANCE - High Tech Surveillance Operator - This 6 day course is designed for individuals and organizations involved in surveillance and counter surveillance, (i.e. Military, Private Investigators, Security Guards / Contractors, etc.). Lectures and scenarios cover surveillance, counter surveillance, technical surveillance and surveillance detections, as well as tactics, techniques, procedures and gear, such as GPS, eavesdropping bugs, body cams, computers, computer forensics, etc. *( READ MORE* )**	ACTIVE SHOOTER - This 3 day course is designed to give the student knowledge and skills to successfully handle an active shooter event. Based on extensive research of lessons learned events, the course provides the student with hands on training to manage these situations. We cover defensive tactics, urban CQB, utilizing dynamic interactive drills and scenario based training. DEFENSIVE TACTICS - Our Def Tactics method teaches you how to effectively deal with unwanted aggression. This course includes, hand to hand fighting, knife fighting, weapon (pistol and rifle) disarmament, and retention as well as Israeli Krav-Maga and Aikido techniques against difficult situations such as severe chokes, grabs and holds. *( READ MORE* )**	TACTICAL MEDICINE - Life threatening injuries require fast medical intervention. This course is for everybody, and provides the knowledge, skills and confidence to deliver medical care in any combat / natural disaster situation. VEGAS SHOOT HOUSE - Kick Ass Adventure Shooting & Fighting! Yeah you can get the guys and gals together and spend $75.00 each to shoot a fully automatic weapon, and it's over in 12 seconds - or you can come shoot with us, choosing between the day live-shooting adventure or the shoot house Air-Soft force-on-force combat experience. Either way, together you learn procedures, tactics, and bond together with action packed fun, building camaraderie, enhanced self-esteem, and memories of your Las Vegas stay. *( READ MORE* )**	MOVIE COMBAT ADVISORS - Our Instructors have real life military and combat experience from Vietnam to the recent Iraq and Afghanistan wars. We also have experience as Private Security Contractors too. This can be the difference between getting the feeling of realism or missing the details on your script or movie. We also operate Las Vegas Locations, a film and movie location scouting service. We have trained thousands of military Tier II and Tier I personnel, as well as Private Security Contractors and are completely familiar with the talk they need to walk. *( READ MORE* )**
Community Services
LAS VEGAS MISSING: A Child goes missing every 40 seconds in the United States and every weekend here in Las Vegas, 60-80 people go missing. Core Group is involved in C.A.R.T. Child Abduction Response Teams, which consist of members of all facets of law enforcement, emergency response, non-profit organizations, and civilian search groups and you and your friends, that come together when a child is abducted. Core Group provides a mobile command center with our employees and dozens of radios to aid in the search. At Las Vegas Missing, our large database of Las Vegas residents also allows us to generate an almost instant email blast with the photo and description of the child that is being sought, hopefully resulting in a fast and safe resolution. Once the situation is vetted by our investigators, our Notification Program goes into working mode, collecting the photos and statistics, building the flyer, building the email template, loading and blasting out a printable flyer to our opt-in network throughout Las Vegas and the nation.

Hotel Accommodations: Accommodations are not included in the tuition price, but plenty of inexpensive hotels are listed on our PDF Location Map. Our Studio and Offices are in the Greater Las Vegas Downtown area, and if you stay in the downtown area at any of the Hotels numbered 1 - 12, (Location Map), we will provide transportation and pick you up. We will NOT provide transportation if you stay at any other hotels due to traffic and time restrictions. Lunch: Will be provided and is included in the tuition price, as well as snacks and hydration. Recommended Gear: Notebook, pen and pencil, sunscreen, hydration system, shooting glasses, ear protection, appropriate clothing for seasonal inclement weather (hot, cold, rain or snow), hat, hiking or tactical boots, pants with cargo pockets, shooting gloves, tinted glasses, multi tool, range bag, and thumb drive for class photos. Bug Out Bag / Go Bag: Survival Students are required to bring their bags / kits for the course. As part of the course, our Instructors will individually go through each one with the student. A recommended list will be provided prior to the class, with the goal to make each one optimal for the user and their individual needs. Background Check: ALL STUDENTS will need to provide some proof of a clean criminal record with NO felony convictions. Examples would be a "State issued Criminal Records check." Go to your local police department where you reside or last resided in the United States, request that the police conduct a criminal records search and provide you with a document reflecting that there is no history of a criminal record. Other examples would be a state issued C.C.W. card, weapon registration card, or DD-214. Weapons & Ammo: (Shooting courses only) We do have a limited number of weapons, (i.e. Glock 17, AR-15 & AK-47) available to be reserved on a first come, first register basis, to prospective students. Students must provide 200 rounds of 9mm, 200 rounds of 223 and 60 rounds of 7.62. This can also be purchased from us at our cost, or shipped to us prior. Curriculum: Our curriculum is extensive and we persevere to complete all of our goals and objectives, but we also reserve the right to not complete them due to circumstances out of our control.
